Microneedling is a natural and minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that treats your skin concerns for younger and smoother looking skin.
Microneedling stimulates the body's natural collagen and skin cell production process by causing micro-trauma to the skin. (Don't worry, it's more gentle than it sounds.) The ultra-fine needles penetrate the skin to increase serum absorption to the lower layers while keeping the top protective layer intact. This allows the lower levels of your skin to be nourished and rejuvenated so that once the top layer of skin naturally sloughs off, a smoother more healthy layer is revealed. Each microneedling treatment also includes light therapy to help boost collagen production, a mini facial massage, and an aloe mask.
The Journal of Drugs in Dermatology published Microneedling in All Skin Types: A Review stating the benefits of microneedling where they state the below.
A 9-year study of 480 patients with rhytides, laxity, and photodamage, who underwent 1-4 MN sessions, achieved 60-80% clinical improvement when compared to baseline.

FAQ
How Often do I get treatments?
Microneedling only needs to be done once a month. This allows the skin to fully rejuvenate between treatments. All other invasive treatments should also be avoided for a month. Nano-needling or cosmetic acupuncture can be done between microneedling treatments to speed up results. All injections, such as botox and fillers, should be avoided for one month before microneedling.
When should I start seeing results?
The top layer of skin will start to naturally slough off about 3-4 weeks after your treatment. This will reveal a healthier, more rejuvenated layer underneath. Many people notice improvement after the first treatment. Depending on your goals, 3+ treatments are recommended to reach your desired outcome.
What serums do you use?
Depending on your goals, I have a variety of high-quality serums, including an apple stem cell serum that is scientifically proven to activate the skin's epidermal cells to start self-renewing at a faster rate. This action keeps the skin from sagging, developing lines and wrinkles, and appearing unhealthy or dull.
How long do the results last?
Results of microneedling can last as long as 3-5 years.
What is Nano-Needling?
Instead of needles, Nano-Needling uses microscopic cones to separate the cells within the epidermis. This allows serums to be pushed into the skin and increases absorption. Because Nano-Needling does not puncture the skin, it only affects the epidermis, the upper .15 mm of the skin. Nano-needling increases cell turnover for an immediate glow. This treatment can be done weekly to rejuvenate and exfoliate the skin.
Nano-needling vs. Microneedling? (reword below - copied from the seminar)
If you would like to work on deep wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, stretch marks, or acne scars, microneedling would be your best option. If you're concerned about fine lines, swelling, or sagging skin, you will want to do nano-needling.
Still not sure which to pick? Get optimal results by doing both! Since microneedling can only be done once a month, I often recommend getting nano-needling in between your microneedling sessions.
